Prof. Abiola Sanni is a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria with about 30 years post call experience. He oversaw the Tax Law Reform function of Nigeria’s National Tax Policy (NTP) Implementation Committee as chairman and successfully led the NTP Review Committee that birthed Nigeria’s Revised National Tax Policy in February 2017. He previously held the Lagos State Government’s Professorial Chair in Taxation. He is an accomplished author, thoroughbred professional and ethical business leader. Professor Sanni is a Fulbright Scholar and Fellow.
Bidemi is Partner|CEO at Taxaide® (www.taxaide.com.ng), a tax management firm and Taxtech® (www.taxtech.com.ng), a technologies firm dedicated to the automation of tax functions and processes. He’s also the Lead Partner of the Commercial and Criminal Law Practice of the law firm of Anaje Olumide Oke Akinkugbe (AO2 LAW® – www.ao2law.com). Bidemi founded Taxaide® and Taxtech in 2014 and 2015 respectively to build processes and systems for the efficient and effective management of taxes and related functions for businesses, individuals and governments. Taxtech provides a wide range of technology solutions (products and projects) to ease tax registrations, payments, filings, auditing and general enterprise resource management. Taxtech is additionally licensed by the Nigeria Government as a Data Protection Compliance Organisation.
Bidemi has worked with several businesses and Governments in the automation of their tax and or revenue administration processes to achieve time and cost effectiveness and efficiency. His sectoral experiences straddle each of the agriculture, construction energy, fast-moving consumer goods, financial services, information communication technology, professional services, solid minerals, real estates and transportation sectors.
A dual-qualified lawyer, chartered tax practitioner with almost 15 years’ experience, Bidemi is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.
Oyeyemi Oke is dual qualified as a Lawyer and Chartered Accountant and holds a Masters of Law from University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. Oyeyemi has about a decade of experience and has worked in the legal services division of an indigenous Oil and Gas Company, where he advised on various legal and compliance issues mergers & acquisition and tax related issues. Oyeyemi is an Executive Director at Taxaide Professional Services, and a partner at Ao2 Law where he specialises in Energy, Projects, and Finance & Tax Practice areas.
In a professional career spanning over a decade, Olugbenga has straddled both the educational and business sectors. In 2009, he co-founded a multi-dimensional firm with a bias for business and educational consulting where as Principal Consultant, his service offerings covered business idea conception, business incubation and business development. The firm also provided educational and business consulting services to schools and birthed various academic and extra-curricular initiatives.
In May 2016, Olugbenga joined Taxaide, where he has served at specific periods in the capacity of Business Analytics Manager and Head of Research. Olugbenga currently heads the Intelligence and Communications Department of Taxaide and also doubles as Head of Operations at Taxaide’s technology flagship, Taxaide Technologies Limited (Taxtech). His responsibilities cover the entire gamut of the Taxaide brand’s communication via all channels including but not restricted to text, graphics and audio-visuals among other expressions. At Taxtech, he has coordinated the development and deployment of a number of landmark automated solutions and facilitated a number of integration projects both with private and government agencies.
He brings to the table a track record in core business operations, client relations and strategy.
Tosin is a renowned policy advisor, speaker and panelist at many national and international conferences in the industry. He brings deep insights from his leadership experience in Strategic Business Development, Engineering and Technical Consultancy, Project Management, Regulatory Compliance and Local Content Development. Until his new role, Tosin was the Country Director – Nigeria at African Energy Association (AEA). An organization of experienced negotiators, advisors, and highlevel policy advocates working to unlock access to energy resources and enhance energy supply across Africa. AEA is headquartered in Washington DC in the USA. Tosin also provides support for early-stage local businesses through his Start-Up incubator: Vantage Innovation Concourse. He is a registered Civil Engineer with Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, COREN.
